We are rounding the corner to playoff time! Hope everyone is excited!

Just a reminder that we have 3 more regular weeks of kickball left this season. The first round of the Tourney will be played Wednesday, August 19th (games will be at normal times like any other kickball week), and the final set of games will be Saturday, August 22nd. Saturday Games will start most likely around 11 or noon (depending on how many games need to be played). Most likely the Championship game will end around 4:00.

Saturday, August 22nd after the Tourney we will have the end of season party. It will be at Goodbar located on 2512 N. Halsted. We will have the top floor and upstairs back patio all to ourselves. Drink specials are $25 from 9-12 for domestic draft and well drinks. Pitchers for flip cup will run $8. We will have flip cup, beer pong and bags set up outside. Afterwards there has been talks of going to Victory Liquors at 2600 N. Halsted. Hope everyone has a good week and this weeks schedule is listed below.

Hey all, here are some important upcoming end of season dates!

Chicago Kickball All Star Game: This year our annual All Star Game will be Saturday, July 25th. Game is at 2:00 and all the fan fest events will be starting at 11:00. We will have Home Run Derby, Fastest Runner (male and female) and the ever popular mad skills competition (male and female). The captains will be Anthony Piccoli (Bayside Tigers) and Nicole Visnyak (Tastes Like Kickin). Each team will be allowed three representatives. If a team cannot field three players then the captains will be allowed to find players from any other team. Game is 9 innings and each player gets an All Star Game tee shirt. I will need to have team players by Wednesday, July 8th so I can order tee shirts in time.

CHICAGO KICKBALL END OF SEASON PARTY

This year the end of season party will be at Goodbar!
From 9-12 we get the private upstairs and back padio to play bags, flippy cup and beer pong. $25 gets you all you can drink domestic draft, well drinks & 2 for 1 shots. Pitchers for flip cup will be $8.

We all know Chicagokickball.com takes two months to update scores, schedules, ect..  That’s how we roll.. but we do get there eventually..

This week’s post is dedicated to one of the original Chicago Kickballers.. A true gentleman of the flipcup and a legend on the kickball field.  Captain PaulY’all of Ferocious will be heading off to Texas A&M to head up the dept. of very smart people. NY Time’s even wrote an article about him (Link). We wish Paul all the luck and will miss him! We raise our flipcups in salute.. There will always be a spot at our flipcup tables for you!
